Unity Village welcomes visitors from anywhere around the globe! During your experience  in this magical community you can have the opportunity to fully immerse yourself in true Samburu culture.

Hut building in UnityJoin the women of Unity in their homes to see how they support their families. If you’re feeling adventurous you might even be able to help with home construction!

Women of Unity welcoming friendsNothing compares with how it feels to be  greeted by the beautiful Samburu women in their traditional and bright clothing, large smiles, and sharing the songs and dances of their culture.

Beaded jewelrySamburu culture is defined by the beaded jewelry that adorn both women and the warriors, or morani. Enjoy watching the Unity Women as they turn wire and beads into intricately designed necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and even coasters! You can choose your own colors  and make a bracelet for yourself, then browse their extensive hand-madeselection of jewelry for sale.

Cheetah on the plainsThe Samburu Game Reserve and Buffalo Springs Game Reserve lie within one kilometer ofthe Unity Village. Ride through the plains and next to the river to spot wildlife such as giraffes,  elephants,  to leopards and cheetahs. The region is also home to the Samburu Special Five — five species that are found only in this region of the world: oryx,  gerenuk,  Grevy’s zebra,  reticulated giraffe, and  Somali ostrich.
